Mother Nature's Weary Eyes:

by Scott Cole   Oct 29, 2018

Sleep my darling
Until all has thawed,
For your vigor
Is slightly flawed.

Get your rest
That's well deserved,
While all is calm
And in reserve.

For days are brief
And nights now long,
So lay your head
Before it's gone.

For all is still
In total peace,
For all that stirs
Has slowly ceased.

So sleep my darling
While chance allows,
For your idle days
Are here and now.

So just relax
No need to rush,
For all is stalled
To but a hush.

When all is reborn
Without it's bliss,
I'll wake you up
With alittle kiss.

As you emerge
From your snooze,
All that you greet
Will be infused.

With lively colors
Of blooming health,
For all you touch
Brings vibrant wealth.

Such a beautiful poem Scott. Having Mother Nature slumber her winter to awaken in the spring full of color and vigor. Just lovely.
