Paradise Found

by Muhammad Amiruddeen   Oct 30, 2018

Death I was before,
Now alive I lay on the fore,
Set on the voyage to that special place,
Right at the edge of everything,
Yet I stand at the center of it all,
Good tides makes me flow,
Awashed with surprise I found the price.

A paradise with houses made of precious glass,
And greenest of grass adorn the grounds,
Maidens of pure virtues welcomed me
Their faces glittering with smiles,
From afar you can see what they wear,
The musk is of best refine,
Fine is their steps that lift like feline strides,
A beauty to behold but not to be touched.

On pride I ride as reach to shore,
Sore red my limps be like sting of bees in a dark cloudless night,
Yet my heart is filled only with delight,
And my spirit up high out of sight,
Let the beams shine my face and lady luck be my bride,
All I craved is Cheese and French Fries.

An interesting piece that shows that at the end of the day the riches and the beauty and temptations of the world are not as important as the small things. Loved the surprise ending of Cheese and French Fries :) Milly x

Well if you follow carefull is there all along, it's a journey to get cheese and French Fries but there's also pun on cheese which also means someone special hence the need to put it in capital as a personal noun that it is. Thank you for your kind review @ Milly x
