On His Fading Departure

by Sive Klaas   Nov 2, 2018

He barely moved in balky visage
As the wintry day dismissed our dialogue.
He lumbered past as if he had been on a voyage,
With disregard and pride, i felt miserable;
on his fading Departure.

He was getting worse and worse and displeasing
He looked like a devil's sick of sin.
He gagged and gasped for air in horror.
His fierce face looked grim.
I could tell, he was dying.

''Bhova!'', he flashed a terrible smile,
Then, his face down again wheezing for air
The welfare, a mile.
Could not help at all.
My dog.
Died of Poison

This is sad, but well written.
The only thing is, first line of stanza 2
change 'worst and worst' to 'worse and worse'
    otherwise a nice write.
    take care
