When Two Souls Mate

by Muhammad Amiruddeen   Nov 3, 2018

All my life has been a search,
To find the one that holds my soul,
Now I know my quest has yielded a fruit,
The sweetest peas, honey of delight,

All I ask is for you to be mine,
I give you my heart and request a bit of yours,
A little piece at a time makes chunk over time,
Step by step equals multiple giant strides,
Promise to be yours and forever it is till the end of time,

Give me a sign and I will follow,
Even to the far narrow edges of the world,
When time is tough I will be your shade,
A canopy of care to keep your worries at bay,
Bare your soul to me and you'd find it a mate.
