A Drop and The Ocean

by BOB GALLO   Nov 23, 2018

"Ocean even envies
the sip you drank from the well."
A. Shamloo

Thus said a drop in a crystalline tone
to the ocean:
you might be the last stance of me being alone.
Then the ocean replied,
in the tongue of waving commotion :
come into me
my forgotten son,
my little insignificant one.

Soon after
the drop came to realise
that his real father
could have never be alluded
to something so deluded like size,
that the aggregations of all degrees
would only
in a zero
circularise,

volume is not real
it is nothing
but a thespian
disguise.
