Happy New Year

The new year is coming
the old one is out
I'm hoping this new one
wont be just a drought

My money's been so tight
an endless expense
relationships fragile
some have become tense

Regrets I have many
think most of us do
learn from our errors
be patient and true

Next year is unwritten
pages fresh and bright
think- good things can happen
if you do things just right

So lift up your glasses
toast to us a good cheer
look to a great future
in the coming New Year

      Thank you Ben...every year i look back on the last year knowing there is nothing i can change. Sometimes regrets can be like a knife turning in my gut. Then i see the new year clear and bright untainted ready to unfold and I know that I will move forward into a new unwritten page where all my experiences and lessons learned will help me navigate a better year.
