Shadows of a lost yesterday

Shadows of a lost yesterday

They silently, quietly, drift in at the end of a very long tiring day, into your mind, when you are most vulnerable, and held at bay.
Try as you may, you cannot sweep their magical spells away. One special passionate encounter enters your mind, as you begin to dream, not wanting to entertain it, but, its too late, already, strong past desires are being heaped upon your appetite plate.

I too laid in my bed with these haunting delusions, far away from God, engulfed with much confusion. One day, without knowing why, I opened a Bible, without being a Sage, my thumb rested on a scripture, upon a certain page, and these words caught my gaze; Beware of things that war with the Soul. (1-Peter 2:11)

Now I realized that these inciting thoughts come from the one who weaves the spider webs, and hatches Cockatrice Eggs. * (Isaiah 11:8), Satan.

*These Metaphors above, give a clear picture of the many deceived people in the Churches, and outside, who are caught in the webs of false Teachers and Preachers. As a result of eating their false doctrines (Adder/Cockatrice Eggs (Their teachings), they die, spiritually. This is because they reject the truth only found in the Bible, he/she who has ears to see, eyes to see.

Ken, I could read a whole novel of your words, lulled by your fluent rhyme and insight.

Take care and all the very best,
