The Orchestra

The Orchestra

The many instruments, each one playing their own special tone to an arraigned beat, the audience tapping their feet. The sudden blast of the trumpet doesn't promote comfort, but, the harp and the lyre bring joy to the ear.

The Sax will help you relax, the flute and the cello, will make you you feel mellow, and, glad, that your date is not with another fellow.

As you squeeze her near, a batch of violins in harmony appear, their strings proclaim that love is in the air, as you whisper heavenly things in her ear.

Oh, Orchestra, I sigh, wish that I could put you in my pocket for no rhyme or reason, then pop you out to chase the blues away, when they are in thier season, especially on those days, when my true love has sailed away.

As always a unique piece that brings a smile to my face. Your subject matter is so diverse but never fails to entertain. I love the idea of a pocket sized orchestra that you could carry around with you and just set out ready to play their instruments at a moments notice. Much love Milly x
