Lullaby

by Maple Tree   Jan 14, 2019

Feeling abandoned, where the sun never shines
allows you to cast away demons,
summon stars and other magical
creations, so your soul can fly; my child.

Another tumor won't stop
the fire that flames brightly,
I see the light from afar
feeling warmth on a cold
winters night.

When all others fail you
remember always-
I'll never stop singing
you lullabies;
my voice is yours
for all eternity.
