Dumbfounded

by Ocean Chant   Jan 18, 2019

Following the seemingly irreversible strangled heart,
It’s not the fear of losing yourself that haunts
But the fear of that someone losing you.
I am taken aback.
How bewildering the heaviness lingering in one’s love.

The first line is a little too wordy but I enjoyed the meaning of this. It’s almost like a quote, a musing. Well written :)

A very heavy piece. The one you write of must miss you very much and I know that feeling all too well. Thanks for sharing your work with us all and please keep writing :)
