The Foolish King

The Foolish King.

There are women I see taken for granted by blind ass man every day! There are so many extraordinary women that men come across that are very rare a diamond in the rough and you don’t see what’s in front of you until it’s usually too late. Don’t be that old ass fool later in life sitting back wondering what could’ve been.
You could’ve had it all with her and even when neither of you had nothing you could’ve build something with this person but because she didn’t fit in to biased society standards you overlooked her.
But yet she was still a queen in her own right.
Women who have nothing but themselves to give and usually these are the women who possess essence that money or materialistic or anything superficial cannot buy.
She saw the king in you that you never really chose to see in yourself she was the one who believed long before any of the others came along and believed in you!
She was the one who had your best interest at heart and wanted nothing but true happiness to shine in your soul.
She saw a future with you but you were too busy caught in the present and caught up with only what feeds your alter egos, your selfishness and arrogance.
You were a king who became an old fool now the jester watches a far watching a woman that would have been his queen sitting on the throne next to a man in a chair that should’ve been your seat. But you didn’t want it so another king took your spot and now they both watch sitting in rulership. Watching the jester do what jesters do.

Make himself a fool.

Foolish enough to let it all go simply because he accused you of not having it all denying his own riches for the sake of getting validation from others who didn’t have much of a life themselves.

And even though she has moved on she is a woman after all and like the Titanic for told a woman’s heart is a ocean full of secrets. So in spite of it all she will sit there and always wonder what could’ve been as well.

But she will never allow you to see this she won’t go back to being your fool. You see she wasn’t always dipped in gold she sacrificed it just to have you but you sacrificed her just to have everything else that never truly mattered and you woke up and realized it when it was too late foolish king indeed you are.

A love that never truly lived out its days because a would be King now jester was foolish enough to allow it to die.
