The Absurdity

by ddavidd   Jan 22, 2019

Days are withering in vain
corroding like my chain
like the petals of my bloodstain
on the thorny shoots of eternal pain,
like my liver being eaten away
immortally
everyday,

forever eaten
everyday
like the Prometheus's liver
in the eternal quiver
pendulating
between germination and decay.

or like the Sisyphus,
who creeped his burden's boulder up the hill
everyday
on an everlasting treadmill,

-the way salmon fishes endeavour to deliver
the grievance of their survivance
in wave and in shivers
to the apex of their will,
climbing falls
sailing against current uphill
in the rivers,

to sustain the absurdity
of their reoccurring inception and exodos
the boomerang of their epanodos
versus their sanity,-

like the instance of your death,
repeating in my heart
in every breath,

like your presence in your attire
scattering you like the alloy of breezing perfume
and sizzling fire,
like some nectarous hives
fenced in beestings'
barbwire,
in every morning bloom,
to my nocturnal gloom,
from your closet
to an imortal
matrimony
of absolution
and doom.
