They said two months three days ago...
Last night I get a call saying hospice...
Tonight emergency call ...
Came to see your face and to talk...
But you Grandpa were out of it.
30 respirations a minute .... Normal is between 12 and 16 ...
Your face to pale and mouth wide open...
Eyes closed hands over your heart as if you are trying to stay..
But part of you just wants to give up...
Yet you hod on for another minute, another hour.
Another day, Over and over this happens.
Tonight before I left your side I cried for the first time in front of you...
And I thought this was gonna be easy.
It is never easy to loose a love one
so they sat down and talked with us tonight and as it turns out
you stopped eating, drinking, and haven't been your normal in the last two days.
Tonight was the night I said my goodbye's
As I cried they said that you only have three too seven days left to live.
I will always love you, and miss you.
