My Sun and Moon

by S.T.A.R.   Feb 6, 2019

He sat behind the sun,
braiding her golden rays.
While catching stars that will
match her yellow hair.

She sat in front of the moon,
praying that together they will stay
while sharing with him her glow.
Painting his life white and gray,
so that forever he will shine.

The morning song she always play,
and her children wake for a new day.
As they feel her warmth they strive,
while she steadily lights their way.

At night he stays up while they rest,
and little light for them to remember
that he is always there to protect them.

When they both lose balance,
she will remain within their day
while he will be within their night.
And even when they are lost
they will forever shine...

**For all the parents where ever they are, you are all special.
