Litters (Syntuit)

I’ve never tried to write one! I’m not an expert on formed poetry - I imagine flotsam bobbing on a still wave, and a dreary, shipwrecked persona. A cool poem :)

This is most definitely a syntuit. This poem holds really beautiful imagery and detail. I cannot truly pinpoint the real meaning, however the first thought that popped into my mind was this person found a message in a bottle. But-

Then a better interpretation popped into my mind. I believe this is a more peaceful scene where this person is sitting on the beach or perhaps ocean shore while the waves lap their toes and while sitting/standing there many objects approach them while riding the waves. Perhaps this is kind of a PSA telling people that the lakes are a mess and they need to be cleaned.

The title makes me think that, because a lot of times I've heard recently that there is litter everywhere and it is getting worse by the day. But- i do really like this poem because of the calm imagery. Well done.
