Nice work Ben, the metaphors and rhyme spell out a tale of romance, with it's various trials.

Ben, I have always admired your style of writing there's always something about that has made me love it even if sometimes I don't know what some of the words mean and have to look them up. Anyway this piece is no different and it oozes a wonderful tale through your beautifully crafted rhyme, well done. Em x

There's such sincerity in this (as your other poems, not just calling this one out). I felt this reassurance, that this love was honest and at the time, something that you thought would be everlasting, but as time goes by and life unfolds, other things take place. "The truth behind the lie" made me think of how our emotions guide us into perhaps thinking there is a flame that will always be there, even if parts of ourselves admit this isn't "destiny", that there will be other loves in our lives.

How do I write such beautiful muse as this? Your words should honestly be written in a book if not done so already
