Pain can make you feel like you are alive, but too much can be torture/ agony. Numbing this pain is a choice, albeit, a crap one. I guess it is about doing what helps you stay in control - take medication to take the edge off, but not too much/often as to take the edge off you!

Exactly! They've prescribed amytriptaline which is supposed to block nerve signals. However I know for a fact it was designed as an antidepressant and it's nasty sh1t, hence why I've not been taking it.

I'm getting to the point where I may have to though.

With all the research and technological advances you would think that someone would come up with something to stop pain that doesn't hit your body with other issues. Sending you warm hugs and hopes that your specialists will be able to help you in another way. Best wishes Milly x

Mills my dear I've endured neck pain for many a long year. I'm fine with it and have learned to ignore it. It's not once held me back.

it's the pins and needles sensation that is driving me nuts. I can't find a way around it.

I tried to shape the poem like a pill but that didn't work either lol
