Really enjoyed this piece and it didn't seem at all forced which is wonderful.
The first stranza is my favourite gave me a real image just by the words "city lights.

One bit didn't sound right to me but I think I will put that down to my strong British accent lol

Thought and shot to me didn't read well to me it made me pause,but like I said I believe it's most likely my accent.

The overwhelming sense of yearning for love so new is a driving force in this piece.
I liked how much feeling you were able to put into each word and how each stanza built it stronger.
The emotion is really relatable and easy to fill as I read each word, line, and stanza.
You captured the feelings of love, fear, and excitement so well.
I also love the way the first few lines describe the feelings of nature and love and how tied they are in a sense of love brightening up the world and making it feel like seasons change from winter to summer.
