Firstly I just looked at your profile. You are a poet. Many many poets write what they feel. I certainly do although I don't class myself as one either. I just ramble on.

As for your poem I found it to be rather evocative and it reminds me somewhat of me. I was like this for a long time

The thing about walls is this. Eventually they crumble. Sometimes that's a good thing! Yeah we may get a bit bruised along the way(debris always falls) but if you keep rebuilding the wall it's gonna keep crumbling

Try knocking a few down instead. Who knows? you may find something lovely on the other side.
