Grievous

by Maple Tree   Apr 22, 2019

Losing the ability to reach out to the sun
my grip upon the night has taken it's toll
and down here, is an endless supply of tears;

I've got nothing left but a handful of tragic memories
and a box of tissues just waiting to caress this face
that doesn't smile anymore.

    Andrea, what you are dealing with requires a herculean effort and the fact you are still standing says a lot. Keep writing, pouring these words out like spilt tears. We are here for you, sending love and comfort. Hugs you-
