Flower Fields

by Anne Moore   Apr 23, 2019

Serene Face
Eyes stare blankly
At the sky above
Her lips pale and peaceful

Her body
Unnaturally still
Dressed in the sunflower gown
She was to ware to the prom
She never made it to

Her last writes
Scribbled in a notebook
Owned by the only
One she trusted
