Collectively, we are all sick of war and bloodshed and yet politicians continue to ply their bloody 'diplomacy' with guns and violence.

    Excellent, Michael.

Sadly war is nearly always caused by one or two powerful people who decide to create chaos to further their own personal agenda then proceed to intimidate and influence enough people to cause a big enough threat to others to cause a lucrative war. What is worse the people orchestrating the war do so from comfortable homes whilst everyone else are risking their lives and often living in poverty.

How much better a world it would be if instead of creating an uprising those people were only allowed to fight in hand to hand combat to resolve their issues and leave all the innocents alone.

In my opinion each war is senseless and what really has been accomplished. So many lives have been wasted and for what. History keeps repeating itself and maybe it's because the government is trying to keep the population down. War is never the answer. Will add to my favorite and all the very best

Thank you, Dagmar. I'm afraid that if we fail to learn from our past, we ruin our future. X
