Peacefully

by Mekael Shane   May 12, 2019

Tribal beats are sounding
Inside my head; echoing and pounding
Demanding that I come home
But which way do I go
How do I leave this waste filled battle zone
I am like you
Traversing through the detritus alone

Tribal beats are sounding
Inside my heart; resonating and pounding
Demanding that I come home
But which way do I go
I'm waiting out in the dark alone
Hoping that the Angels will release me
So that I can find my way home peacefully

All your poems are sounding pretty good. They are so clean and musical, so much joy reading them.
