Graduating

by DestinyAwaits   Jul 12, 2004

Most of us have been friends since day one,
Back when we were little and life was fun.
Getting into trouble was always the game,
Walking through school and everyone knowing your name.

In our minds we figure we'll always be together,
The memories we have shared in our hearts forever.
As I take a look around,
I soon begin to remember some of the things we'll never live down.

Now that we go on our way,
I just have one last thing to say.
To those I have loved,
And to those who I believe are a gift from up above.

I would never take a single day back,
Even the days I saw some of you all's hairiest cracks.
The fights that may have broke out,
Or the parties the McCall's always knew about.

Anywhere from the employees must wash hands signs,
To hey those training videos aren't mine.
I'll never forget the inside jokes,
And some of the embarrassing stories you wouldn't tell your folks.

Now it's time for me to look you guys in the eyes,
And try to say our good-byes.
I love you all,
And after high school you better give me a call.
