Sunny Moon: Will I Try Again?

I tried for so many years
Tried to understand why
Why you would disappear
Why did I even try?

When I called out your name
When you always turned away
All I ever hoped
Was that you would stay.

I thought you didn't see me
I thought you didn't care
I thought you didn't understand
All I wanted was you here.

I spent so many nights
Searching through the sky
Wondering if you saw me
Wondering if you asked why.

Now that you see me
Now that you chose to stay
Will you stay close forever
Or will you go away?

So now when I go to rest
Do I carry with me any pain?
Just like the sun's light leaves the moon,
Will I ever try again...
