They try to knock your confidence
And they mess with your self view
But only you are in your shoes
What do they know? They're not you.

They try to make you feel bad
And stop you from flying free
Please don't let them take you down
For you are everything to me.

And you're wonderful and beautiful
A warrior smashing though barricades
Your future is long and open
And it's a future you have made.

People are so quick to judge
And to criticise
You'd have a rubber soul and let it all bounce off
If you could see you through my eyes.

You'd see your strength and resilience
You'd see your determination too
All this and more in your loving heart
Is it any wonder I'm in love with you?

'cos you're wonderful and beautiful
