Beautifully expressed, Cox. This is just the way I would want a guy who is in love with my daughter to treat her. And I hope that she would treat him in kind. And for all the women who would like to be so cherished, I hope you will find the right guy and the decent guy that will always treat you this way.

Unfortunately there are a lot of women out there who, regardless of what they say they would like, cannot find contentment by having a decent guy. Instead they always choose the opposite kind of guys and continually get hurt. This would probably be a relevant topic for the discussion forums.

haha well i hate to hearthat girls are being hurt...but its true even some of my buddies i hang with do it...thats when i write from the heart and try and help guys realize girls werent just sent here for us to treat as an equal and "do" but to love and care for....

That was so awesome. My boyfriend told me he loved me the other night for the first time. Than, he dumped me today because he says he likes one of my hella good friends. I'm kinda upset because we were good friends for hella long before we started dating...but anyways...great poem!
