Early springs rain

She shed a tear
such a sweet girl
he saw her cry
she was his world

he thought for a moment
and approached her slowly
spoke to her softly
she understood fully

she didnt know
how much she did wrong
breaking his heart
for so very long

she appologized faintly
not knowing his pain
as tears came out
like an early springs rain

she walked away not knowing
what she had done
to make a grown man cry
over some heartless fun

as he held his tears back
she slowly walked away
not knowing later
it would be the saddest day

as she walked away
the presence of his world did to
losing his old lover
would soon born a new

she met him that night
at the very same bar
she had too many drinks
he took it to far

he awoke the next morning
to the eerie sound of the phone
what he heard
chilled him to the bone

he broke down to his knees
she had been shot
all because
she had drank a lot

his angel had flown to the heavens
this cause him the most pain
on the floor he cried
like an early springs rain
