Longing

by Jacki   Aug 31, 2004

I long for you touch
just one last time.
I long to see you
smile just for a glimpse
of time.
I long to hear you laugh
and truly mean
it from your heart.
I long for a memorie
to come fleeting back.
So much I long for
so little I try.
I'm a chicken
grandma can't
see me cry?
I Long for the strength
you once gave me
as a child.
I long for your kisses
to make my
heart feel better.
I long for the moment
when you'll remember
my name.
Someday grandma,
this I know,
Someday neither of
us will be sad and alone.

Is this a true story? It is heartfelt, and if I am right, is it about your grandma and the fact that her mind is beginning to wander?
