Something i could never know

by pinkalias   Sep 18, 2004

A feeling i didn't want but keeps me all aglow
and before you came this light i would never know
you keep me breathing alive when i feel like dying
you speak the honest language when i think your lying

sunflowers are blooming every time you smile
and every step is dancing Caz I'm with you all the while
talking about nothing but its the most important thing Ive said
kiss me goodnight and whisper love before i go to bed

keeping a light hanging dimly above my hair
your eyes are lovely, heart is lonely, and a face so fair
your hands are coarse but your voice is sweet
how is it that our paths were chosen to meet

floating on a cloud made of ocean blue
laughing to myself as the sunbeams reach to you
pulling me along is a force Ive yet to know
standing on piece of sky and feeling your sparkle grow

angels may frown when they see us flying
we shouldn't have been given wings unless we had been dying
but we couldn't help it we embraced and then we flew
i thought my heart would break instead its whole and its with you

cruising on a rainbow sleeping in a dreamy trance
rose petals fall upon your face as u signify our romance
speaking to my skin as you touch my face
Ive never belonged but now i know your my one and only place

blinded by a star and sailing towards the moon
knowing you'll be my air and catch me when i swoon
i am becoming jealous Caz the sun wants you all its own
but you hold up your hand and hold me tight Caz you'd never leave me alone

keep me until tomorrow and before then i will lay
wait until the sunrise and hope to god i pray
i will bring to you a rainbow and a handful full of crows
you will wait for me until forever and this the angel knows

Enchanting poem... definitely a warm, tender schism from the others (for which I'm glad for you), though with a nice bit of acknowledged grit of life needfully present.
