Release

by FTS Miles   Sep 19, 2004

Strange how comforting is the
Darkness
Broken by a single flame
Darting under the auspices
Of my shallow breath,
White rose cinders
Hissing off grey shadows
Which dance about the light
And the darkness,
A mist showing that walking
Between
Is possible outside our dreams...
The darkness alone would not
Bring me such calm,
And a greater light would strain
My day-worn eyes,
So upon the shadowline
I watch sigh release into the
Silence
Flickerdark and rose
Cooing to my Mind to just
Let go....
