Torrents

by Amerimov   Sep 24, 2004

Tiny torrents of turpentine
Make their way up my spine
Moving upwards over time
They tell me that you cannot be mine

You were here to come, and here to stay
But soon you will go away
You cannot hear me, the torrents say
They say you'll abandon me someday

When the day is over, when the day is past
And I am staring to the void so vast
Can you hold me till the last?
Or will things turn into the past?

Look inside and see the kind
What I need, you can help me find
So come and free me from my mind
And these tiny torrents of turpentine

i read this a while ago.. loved it then, love it now - creepy imagery, but oh how true - those doubts.
