You Don't ®

by Sarah   Oct 12, 2004

You don't ask me for my permission to use things,
You don't care about the meaning of these rings.
Your father took me as his mate.
So a loving home we could create.

You don't stand up when others lie.
You don't stop it, or even try.
I'm tired of feeling like I'm outside.
My irritation is getting harder to hide.

You don't things up or even help out.
You don't care if its disrespect at me to shout.
I take you here, I take you there.
When things don't go as planned suddenly "That's not fair."

You don't see how your attitude is bad.
You don't see that your spirit makes me sad.
I don't know how much more I can take.
How the angst for your parents isn't my fault for heavens sake.

You don't appreciate whats been given up for you.
You don't think about whats false or true.
The things you take and lie about is insane.
Hiding things now, my life isn't the same.

-FOR MY STEP-DAUGHTERS...NEED I SAY MORE?
