wow! thank you for telling me to read this poem! it touched me truly and i know exactly how it feels! wow......thank you for taking the time to comment on my poem! i hope to hear more from you!
But about this poem..
It's GREAT. I just hope I'll never get rejected.. cause I was reading it and up till the 3rd stanza I was like; Yeah, I've felt like this! And then it started to turn into a sad story.. Hehe. So it made me a little sad. I'm sorry it happened to you.. But it's good you've learned from it =] But that's just something in life; You ALWAYS learn from the past, bad experiences or even the good ones =] -But why the heck am I telling this to somebody who's way older than me.. =P -
This poem/prose is very touching. So many of us can relates to it. Love is not love when there is no return. If someone being rejected, it simply means there were no returns and a love like this can never last. What is positive about it, is that, every has his/her special one out there in the world. Just search for it, sometimes we never find it, but sometimes it comes to us when we least expected. Well done 5/5, kel.
Nice poem:) I'm a sap for the love ones. Well my first critique would just to be to shorten the lines up a little bit. By doing that on the page the poem looks neater. Also the rhyming got in the way for me a little bit. I think if you weren't focsed on rhyming the last words could have been stronger. Although this piece was a tad cliche I still enjoyed it 4/5
You have done a wonderful job on this realistic piece.Rejection, that terrible word that kept so many including myself, from taking that one step to find love.
I also like the message about looking above if one ever find themnselves in this situation.God will never reject anyone.
Over all this is a beautiful piece.
An enjoyable read.
Wow! this poem is honestly beautiful! the best i've read in a long time...its so sad and heartbreaking, i can feel your pain, and im sure many could relate to all the emotions you expressed so clearly and well. I enjoyed reading it all the way to the end, i liked how you ended this, truly inspiring, truly beautiful...Don't stop writing...MEZi x
A wonderful write, Michael. How well you hit on some of the hardest points of being rejected. And how well you reminded me of my own experience. That in itself, is testament of your talent. Great piece. Thanks.
