Maybes

Maybes stand in the way
Of a love that could be so true
If I only I knew how to tell you
That my heart belongs to you
I’ve come close to telling you before
But then maybes got in the way
Maybe you and I just weren’t meant to be
Even if it is an old cliché
But maybe I’m wrong…..
Maybe you do feel the same
Maybe risking our friendship
Is a risk I’m willing to take
Maybe I should just come out and say it
But if you take it the wrong way
Right in two my heart would split
Maybe I should wait till another day
But maybe by then it will be too late
Maybe I should grow up and face my fate
Maybe I’ll tell you one of these days
But for now these maybes stand in the way.

    awww.. that was no way rubbish, that's EXACTLY how I feel :( having all these "maybe"s suck big time... oh my this poem is great, really is, its like you took the thoughts from my mind and wrote it here... oh good work :) Keep them up girl, take care :)... wish you one day the maybe will lead to a happy ending :)
