Alltime sadness

Sadness is a part of me
always there
yet rarely seen
inside i carry my burdens alone
this weight on my shoulders
i alone own
no one could share it
or even help me
to bear it
sadness is a shame
so many live or die
with no happiness to their name
if we could come together
and share our lifelong strife
so many people
could have a brand new life
what hurts is to have to keep it inside
not wanting anyone to find out
when if we only shared the burden
this pain we'd be without
if you helped me
then i could help you
then with each other
we could make it through
but intead we lash out
i do it too
thinking if i have to hurt
then everyone else should have to too
its one big circle
hurting with no shame
its like some twisted
lifelong game
so forever we go on hurting
others and in turn ourselves
with no regret
the world still keeps turning
