Meaning

by ShadowedPhoenix   Nov 17, 2004

It's strange 2 think that our time is limited for us
and those we love.
That at any moment God might need us above.

I don't know the meaning of life but
I will tell you what i do know,
Recently i saw a death of a dear boy,
A horrific tragedy unforeseen

He didn't get 2 say goodbye
2 family and friends
They wish they'd got the chance but now their eyes have stained tears a broken hearts that will never mend

So if you love someone tell them now,
For the time is right, it is a must
So that they can find peace when your above

Or maybe their time will be up
could you live with regret?
Regret that you never said those words
You thought it doesn't matter "i can tell them tomorrow."

But death and time waits for no 1
and it doesn't stand still,
No matter who you are
Or what you plan 2 do

So 4 me the meaning is clear
Time is precious
Treasure the ones you love
because you might not always be here

Tell them you love and care
because your life or theirs
in a few moments could be a thing of the past, the very end

For me the meaning is those friends
and family
that we hold dear
Because without them we all wouldn't be here.
