Halfway To Anywhere

Although this poem probably just seems like waffle, it does have a story and a meaning to it, but it's hidden x

Swallowed in the sound of my screams
Silence in the night
Pain cascades through torn up veins
A deadly crimson sight

Running down a moonlit alley
Away from worthlessness
I'll go out with the power of the night
I'll be the one you all discuss

Smooth carved skin upon my arm
A red lit summer dance
Pouring from the core of despair
Blood and tears entranced

Above me, wilted falling leaves
Drown my teary fight
Like Autumn once was, I fall to my knees
Soft droplets cloud my sight

How soon is it now before I sparkle and fade?
Close my eyes to disappear
Halfway to anywhere, a place I've made
With a single drop of a tear

I can taste your tears as I fade to black
An essence lost alone in the dark
It's better for me to go from this place
Than to mend my bleeding heart...

    I really liked this poem, and I think I understand the meaning. Well I could relate to it on some level, even if it's not the same one you intended me to. Hey, Ironic Allure said that my poem "Help Her" is alot like on of your poems. If you get the chance to read it, could you tell me which one you think it's like. And hey, feel free to read any other of my poems. It would really mean a lot coming from such a talented person like you. You're amazing, and truthfully, this poem was absolutely stunning!

    This poem is so beautiful. I was eatnig chocolate and It made me stop before I put the next piece in my mouth, which is DEFFINITELY saying something :P Your phrasing is amazing hun, I can't believe you wrote this.
