Sandy i love you and miss you, il never forget you

by ~iloveantz~   Dec 11, 2004

As the ceremony ended,
We knew it was time to say goodbye,
We tried to fake our smiles,
And you said to me “please don’t cry”,
We looked straight at each other,
And knew this was goodbye,
You could never be replaced,
Not by any guy,
I looked at you very carefully,
So as not to forget a thing,
We didn’t know 3 years ago,
Quite what this friendship would bring,
Our friendship grew stronger,
From form 1 up till today,
I knew I had to go,
But how I wished I could stay,
I thought about our friendship,
From now until the start,
And how everything is changing
It hurts to know we’ll be apart,
I started to laugh and smile,
As I tried to hold back tears,
Thinking about all the times we had,
The fun and laughter that we shared.
I knew that this could be the finish,
We might not see each other again,
But you will be my best friend,
No matter where I am.
You wouldn’t be there with me,
Not physically anyway,
But you’ll be right there beside me
Because In my heart is where you stay.
I tried to think about you,
And just how happy you will be,
With our same old high school friends,
Everyone except me,
And as we faced each other,
We didn’t know what to say,
We knew we might not see each other again,
And that this might be our last day,
And as I looked at you,
Tears streamed down from my eyes,
You pulled me close for our last hug,
I felt a part of me that died
And as we pulled away,
There were tears in your eyes,
Which I was very surprised to see,
Because I never saw you cry,
We sadly looked at each other ,
As we slowly pulled apart,
I new this would be the last time
That you‘d be physically close to my heart,
And as I walked away,
You said “please don’t forget me”,
I looked at you with tears in my eyes
And said “You’ll be my biggest memory”
I knew that I would miss you,
More than any one else,
I think it is because,
In you I see myself,
We are so much alike,
From beginning to the end,
You will be with me forever,
My best and truest friend
