Street Poetry

by Jacki   Dec 11, 2004

In Loughborough Junction an old castle sat
Bow windows teetering sideways
Wood covered shades
An old fence moldy with green
Bricks falling down upon
The old castles ground
The sereneness of the sun rays
Shine up like dreams on the rocks
In front, words are seen on this derelict house
Painted with beauty of our own imagination
Dignity and sorrow lost inside its burrows
Hand Painted memories upon the slumbers
Of its death

I got this idea from a picture I seen with poetry painted on the brick fence infront of this run down house. Street Poetry is a new form of poetry that is starting to come out. I have a picture of it on my website.

This is why I titled it 'Street Poetry'
