I think i understood what you're trying to say please correct me if i'm wrong, i think u used like a huge metaphor of all the colors being all the masks ppl wear and how they all hide their true feelings, and deep down inside we all have problems tht we keep or at least most or some.

if im right, OMG i feel like this all the time, like i usually do cover myself up with 'i'm fine' and a stupid smile, but inside i'm filled with tears tht rush out once i'm alone....hehe well enough about me

read some of my poems, i'd like to know what you think

    xoxo

What captivated me about this poem was the title ... because I have a poem with the same title. I think it's amazing how people can get so many ideas from one thing. Anyways, this was excellent. 5.

I really love how you formatted the piece. The rythm of the work was excellent, it really created an atmosphere for the reader to comprehend the feeling and symbols you used throughout the writing. I really admired your comparisons and metaphors, the main subject itself it full of hidden meaning and beauty. I especially admired the lines,
"Scrape away the green and yellow,
    the pretty blues
    and reds so mellow.
Beneath you find still moist tears,
    blood stains red
    and blackened fears."
I absolutly love those lines. I love how you portrayed tragedy behind the beauty and that even the most horrifying things can be masked.
    well done

amazing amazing poem! no, i wasn't being redundant but it was truly a great piece. i especially liked how you encorporated colors and such to tell about what's 'beneath' the mask that everyone sees. the flow was very good. i thoroughly enjoyed this. keep writing. take care:)

well I don't know what to say... it's a nice piece of work, but doesn't fit my tastes... and in my opinion the colors were too obviously stated...
