The Inner Me

by John Holley   Jan 17, 2005

Since my birth on this earth
I've been feeling alone
Like a curse that got worse
Now I'm living it grown
There's no man who understands
How I feel inside
So I ran without a plan
And I continue to hide
Like a boulder on my shoulders
I just carried the load
But I'm a soldier 'til it's over
At the end of my road
If I pray maybe one day
The lord will ease my pain
I'll be okay if I just stay
Away from going insane
I'm going to war, hear me roar
But I'm my enemy
As I explore deep in my core
I find an "inner me"

That's really cool. I understand where your coming from because its a struggle to find the true you. I've been searching for a long time and it's not "right" to talk to other guys about it. so I guess you have to do it alone, huh?
