I Tried To Save You

** before you read this poem, it's about a girl named Sarah i helped online with suicide for approx. 2 months. She was so beautiful and intelligent however, abused, a cutter, and she took a lot of pills...I did everything in my power to save her from her threatening suicide emails but nothing worked. The night before she commit suicide, she emailed me thanking me for everything i had done and gave to her and it was too late, by the time i got the email, she had already overdosed and died.**

I tried so long to save you
but my words were not enough,
couldn't pull you away from it,
your life was just too tough.

The addictions pulled you,
you resisted my force,
you soared into the arms of God
as you lay a lifeless corpse.

The unbearable pain
emptied you inside,
I lost my faith in me
the night you commited suicide.
