When i walked out this morning
i cried as i met the door
about how i have no explanation
of not being there anymore

i dried my tears
as i walked to your car
thinking about how you've been treated
and how life must be hard

i don't know what to say
i wouldn't no where to begin
about what you have been through
or explain where I've been

I'll hold onto you in my heart
and I'll always love you
protect you from all the harm
from the things that i do
