I can’t think of a way
To show you my heart
The way it beats for you
That it has from the start

If only there was a way
To show you my soul
That it no longer shines
Changed to blackened coal

If there was a way
To show you my guilt
To rid you of hurt
And tears you’ve split

If only there was a way
To prove my sorrow
To bare all my emotion
Show the purpose of tomorrow

I can’t explain my regret
Or how it burns through my veins
Because I’ve done something
That truly caused you pain

If there is a way
Let me know
And with most sincerity
It will show

If you bleed, I bleed
You cry, I cry
This pain I’ve caused you
I ask myself why

All of this
I never intended
I just pray to god
Your heart will be mended

I hate myself for being the one
To take away your happiness
I just want to be the one that
Hopefully can restore your bliss
