Blinded by love

Life without love is like life without eyes
Alone in the darkness, where pain crucifies
the lack of acceptance is the lack of desire
Feeling unwanted, dumped by the one I admire

The funny thing is she never saw it coming
Lied to me and didn't expect me to be running
You never know what you have till you don't have it any more
And its right because I never thought she'd hurt me before

To get the fire of love I guess I risked getting burned
Because it was impossible to me that an angel could ever be turned
I was blinded by love and her manipulous smile
thinking she was the one that would be with me a while

she made me believe in love at first sight
after her spectacular entrance that one winter night
dressed in all red and sparkles upon her face
the gleam in her eyes leaving dropped jaws in her trace

The kind of girl I normally wouldn't date
but she comes up to me and says "you being here is fate"
I fell into her trap, just another piece in her game
I had no idea that she had a tainted name

found out the hard way about her hurtful ways
all the times shes lied to me, all of those so called wonderful days
ended in heart brake only for me
but I guess thats what I get, going on only what I see
