Sorry Lucy.

by ?   Feb 3, 2005

Despite what I do, what I say,
I love you and I’m sorry with all my heart,
I’m meant to be there for you,
But instead I rip our friendship apart.

I’m sorry I fall to the floor every time,
I’m sorry I don’t support you when you need me,
I’m sorry I don’t always say I love you back,
I’m sorry that I always have a silent plea.

I’m sorry I have this bad habit,
I’m sorry I can’t stop, even for you,
I’m sorry for ever calling you a b****,
I’m sorry my jealousy burns through.

I’m sorry that I always have these stupid fights,
I’m sorry that I have these things wrong with me,
I’m sorry that I can never face them,
I’m sorry that I always disagree.

I’m sorry that I take things out on you,
I’m sorry I thought of giving up on life,
I’m sorry for being selfish all the time,
I’m sorry for turning to the knife.

I’m sorry for taking your words the wrong way,
I’m sorry for thinking love and care was not there,
I’m sorry for getting worse and worse,
I’m sorry for each angry glare.

I love you Lucy, and I always will, till the end,
But I fear that I will be forever saying sorry all the time,
But please help me repair and repay you,
Please except my gift, of this rhyme.
