Dreams

by Amanda   Feb 6, 2005

I keep your picture in my heart,
Afraid that it could all fall apart,
This thought of you is what makes me weak,
So scared, so silent and I began to speak,
The words we're soft,
Your hands we're shaking,
We sat in silences,
You could feel me braking,
Then you hold me close,
And wisper in my ear,
Those three little words Ive waited so long to here,
My heart skips a beat,
And before my heart gets a chance to think,
My stomach begins to sink,
As I quickly wake up from this dream of you,
Not knowing what I should do,
Cause the memories are slowing fading away,
All because I never asked you to stay.
