Little Drops of electric

by Mark Hopwood   Feb 12, 2005

Casting my mind out to sea
It's like looking for a positive thought
In an ocean of Negativity,
The waves, Crashing into the stormy sky
Awaiting the lightning to belt from the earth.
Waiting to feel the energy pulse through the air
To be Inhaled.
Then and only then will it shine through my soul
And turn on my mind.

Casting my line out to sea
I still wait, I still wonder if I'll catch what I seek
I still stand in deep waters, still doubt where to tread
I still stand still, waiting...
For this deep blue ocean to be electrified to life
To feel its heartbeat, to swirl, to leap, to flow
To spread its waters and cover this world in
an Ora of safety, of truth and light and hope.
Here, appears clouds of rain,
Waiting to unleash their spirits onto me
Waiting to soak into me and fill me with the thoughts I need.

Each drop of rain holds an energy so strong, so clear and so live
And I'm waiting to be electric.
