Graduation

The time has come and gone so fast
As we sit here remembering the past
Knowing its time to leave our friends
This way of life has now come to an end
It’s sad to think this time is done
In September now, we’ll all be gone
Splitting up in our separate ways
Now only with the memories of these days
The time has come to face some fears
We’re in high school now
We’re too big for tears
We knew this time would eventually come
This life has stopped
And a new one begun
We know that we’ll all grow apart
But always keep the memories
Close to our hearts
Now we are no longer boys and girls
We are young ladies and gents
Going into the world.
